Choosing Windows Version

When choosing a Windows version, like Pro, Home, 32-bit or 64-bit, when loading from a bootable flash drive made on the Microsoft site, it will ask which version you want to load.  I've done my share of reloads, and when making the ISO, you'll get:

Are you using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool ?  It will give you the options for the versions of Windows you want to copy to a bootable USB Drive.  The ISO image option is good if you intend to burn the ISO image with a 3rd party software to a DVD or USB Drive.

Interesting.  Naturally, I don't reload every day, so to the best of my memory...  The ISO file installs in a download folder.  Then I clicked on it to download Win10 to a flash drive.

My original post is the result of a relentless disagreement in another thread that Win10 version couldn't be chosen.

The method I used has also been used and recommended by other Rockstar's.  So it's the way I also recommend.  When I saw the other version on the Microsoft site for downloading Windows, I didn't think it was the right one for me.

@bradthetechnut If you want to install from an USB drive the easiest way is to use the Microsoft Media Creation Tool and it will automatically find the latest version and burn a bootable installation copy of Windows 10 or 11 onto the USB drive.  The only benefit with an ISO file is if you use 3rd party software like Rufus to burn a bootable USB drive that stops Windows from checking Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 on older systems that do not have it and cannot install Windows 11.

@bradthetechnut The best version of Windows 11 I tried along with many others on YouTube is the English(International) version which has the least amount bloatware. The standard English(US) version has 174 apps running in the background.  The International version has about 144 and with a few tweak I was about to cut it down to around 84-91 apps running the background !

As for the 1st sentence, did that already 2 months ago.  Either one of the following works for making a flash drive to load Win10 onto a PC:
