CPU compatibility
Hi, I have a Dell Optiplex 7020 with motherboard Dell 02YYK5 and CPU Pentium G3250.
How can I find out which CPU are compatible? I have an i7 4790 and wanted to check if can be fit.

While it should work fine, I would be careful with that CPU -- it draws up to 84 W and this appears to be a small form factor system (which ships with a 53W CPU). You may have temperature issues.

it should be okay. 7020 and 9020 SFF both equipped with performance grade heatsink as standard config. but to be sure open your sff to look at the heatsink shroud. if it says performance. all good. I have many 4790 in 9020 sff with this heatsink do not have any temp issue

@redxps630 I thought about the temperature issue and bought a Cooler Master i70c too. That should help I guess
