DELL 7020 SFF i3 graphics card options?
Ok, I can see this question in 1 form or another gets asked fairly often. But seems to be differing hardware specs each time so I'm hoping it's ok to ask based on my devices spec than take an answer from a different spec thread that might not be the correct or best answer option in my case.
So, I've just obtained a DELL 7020 Optiplex SFF i3 4TH GEN 3.4GHz 8GB RAM for a project I'm working on (basically a retro arcade machine and jukebox that a small unit is vital for). And whilst for the best part the on-board graphics should be sufficient for the majority of my requirements, I'm told a dedicated graphics card if obtainable should help compatibility\performance and the better running of certain aspects & software etc.
So, is there any particular graphics card (no less than 1gb, no more than 2gb) that would work in the DELL 7020 SFF i3 without issue?. The PSU looks to be the stock & is stated as max 255w, so obviously low power requirement is an issue. But I've read the slot is max 50w?, thanks.

There is another *cheap* option- A Dell-made AMD Radeon R7 250 card, 2 GB ram, Dell part # FDT1K, was the factory option for my similar vintage 3020 SFF. Am running it on my computer now. Sized for that single width slot, the fan's airflow designed to work with the case's airflow, meets the power specs, and runs quite well. While this older card doesn't have the power of everyone's favored GeForce GT 1030, my R7 250 meets and exceeds its benchmarks. If your arcade application requires added DirectX or 3D capability, this upgrade should do it. (And the heatsink has a tiny bit of copper bling.)

Plenty of these, used, on the aftermarket. This is a representative vendor and representative price: Dell AMD Radeon R7 250 PCI-e x16 2GB GDDR3 DVI Video Graphics Card FDT1K | eBay
Give it some love.
