That is a close call.  I was almost going to give a green light but no, the board has different proprietary form factor.

the layout is nearly identical, I will give u that.

3yjm6 board Right edge is straight

Vy7g1 board Right edge is stepped.

in general you can hardly put a different AIO model board in another pc.  They are like laptops.

@Yardieman I did a little research and the newer Inspiron 5400 board with the 11th gen Intel will 100% fit. There's space where the board is slightly extended by the CMOS battery but there's an empty space there between the fan. The cover/shield looks like it MIGHT fit in the corner with the protrusion - hard to eye it 100%. If it's slightly too narrow there, the corner is already slit and perforated in that area so you could either cut off a small sliver of metal or just bend the cover outwards slightly as there's plenty of clearance and it's not attached near that corner nor is the cover structural at all or even necessary, really.

So, it's a direct replacement that may require bending a small metal tab at worst. Seems the newer 5400 boards are way cheaper and more common on ebay than the 5490s. If it looks like it'll fit, it almost always will as Dell and everyone else tends to want to not change part production for a single different piece.
