Dell Optiplex 7020 MT VGA
Hello Guys, I have a Dell 7020 MT machine and i would like to know if the PNY T400 4GB video card would work in it.
290W basic Dell power supply, Dell motherboard, 8gb DDR3, i5-4690s, 250gb Samsung Evo 850, 500gb Seagate 7200rpm is in the machine.
Vga needs pci-e 3.0, but the machine only knows 2.0. Is there backward compatibility or am I looking for another card?

290w PSU won't have any trouble powering 30w card.
It looks like it just comes with the short bracket, not the full length needed for MT's.
I don't see why it wouldn't be backward compatible with PCIe 2.0. Besides the short bracket, about the only catch I see is if the were to not take, try it with Secure Boot off BIOS. Only mentioning just in case. I see a 2GB version of the card is sold on the Dell site.
