Dell Optiplex 760 USFF does not turn on.

My Dell Optiplex 760 USFF does not turn on. This computer comes with a power supply on the outside. The model of the power supply is DA-2 N112H. The power supply turns on with an orange light, I don't know if it's normal for it to turn on with that color. How can I know if it is the power supply that is failing or if it is some other component?

Thanks for your quick response. In this case the amber light is in the power supply as seen in the image, not in the power button of the computer. When I press the power button on the computer, nothing happens.

Those are 12v bricks.  So you should be able to verify that it has 12v.

No power could be many things including bad CMOS battery.

Given the decades old age of the unit its not really worth fixing.

New working computers of this type are available well under $50.

no spares so....  and 100% dead and silent right? and 10 years old today and used ones are like $20.

that RTC coin cell inside, do you expect it to last 11 years>/ 7 is makers max spec. and many a BIOS goes dead with it dead.
1: Power pack bad.
2: motherboard overloaded. (means things plugged into are shorted and will not turn on )
all you can do lacking tools and spares, is to strip any PC down to its minimum system to find some shorted part.
3: bad motherboard, is not first, it's last. to condemn.
remove things like (called clearing shorts)
a: hdd, ssd and dvd drives.(oops no room for dvd,)
b: Rams sticks test them 1 at a time. to find one bad?
c; the motherboard has this large yellow LED dead center, is it glowing? power light (AUX_Power_LED)
d:the 2 crossflow fans are dead I guess, so remove them just for 10sec test to see if they are shorted.?

e:the top cpu fan, can short. do 10sec, test. to see if PC wakes up when pulled.

f: see all those old caps there? on the mobo, (like dinky cans of cola) those caps if split or worse leaking are bad. just below the CPU heat sink and more.
