dell optiplex 9010 upgrade
Hello, i just purchased a second hand dell optiplex 9010, and i want to upgrade it for gaming but I don't know what are my options since I dont know the exact model whether is it a MT,DT or SFF.
The specs are
Intel i5-3470 3.20GHz CPU Processor
16GB RAM Memory 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD Storage
2GB NVIDIA GT730 Graphics.
Dell Inc. 051FJ8 Motherboard (got it from cmd by this command "wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer")
the box looks exactly like this
Somebody please help me find good upgrade choices for this pc. thanks in advance.

It is 9010 SFF. Cpu and ram are both pretty good for gaming. Not required to upgrade to core i7 cpu for gaming although i7-3770 is more popular than i5-3470. 16 gb ram is perfectly all right. More ram makes little difference. Your pc takes low profile short bracket gpu only. One thing to consider is to upgrade psu in order to support high power gpu. Stock psu is relatively low power having no 6 or 8 pin. To fit in SFF case upgrade psu needs to be small form factor too. This may be a tricky part. On the other hand for budget gaming you do not have to upgrade psu. There are multiple GTX 1000 series gpu that would work with stock 240w psu. Here is an example of someone’s configuration for your reference. It also gives detailed analysis of SFF chassis limitations and potentials.
CPU: Intel i7-3770 Processor (4c/8t @ 3.40GHz)
RAM: 16GB DDR3 (4x4GB @ 1600MHz)
PSU: Dell D240AS-00 PSU (240W Max)
GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti LP (4GB / 1442MHz Boost)
SSD: LiteOn 128GB

@Ben2546
I would not recommend any card more than 40 to 50W max.
GT1030 or RX550
AMD Radeon RX 550 4G Low Profile Dell 0R9J9P

One last question, do you think GTX 1650 LP will be good for it or GTX 1050ti LP is the max for my pc?

Re: GTX 1650 LP will be good for it or GTX 1050ti LP is the max for my pc
both cards are 75w so no difference in power.
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti | Specifications | GeForce (nvidia.com)
GeForce GTX 1650 Graphics Card | NVIDIA
1650 is a bit faster than 1050ti. go for one you can afford or like more. also the 75W spec come from nvidia but specific card maker may add stuff to the card making it need more power than nvidia spec, for example, if the card is factory overclocked. so do check specific model spec and make sure TDP is not greater than 75w which is nvidia spec.
UserBenchmark: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti vs 1650
