If it physically fits in the drive caddy, and the connector fits properly, it will probably  work fine, but I don't actually have a 9020 or a WD Blue 1TB PC Hard Drive. Look at the data sheet for the dimensions, then look in your case with a ruler to make sure it will fit.

Maybe someone who has your exact hardware and uses that exact drive will reply.

The dell staff people can only tell you what they have actually tested and KNOW that it works, but obviously they cannot test all of many millions of possible peripheral devices.
