HDD password recovery

Hi I am using dell optiplax 780 core 2du pc. Unfortunately it has automatically locked my HDD password. This password is not assigned by me. It is automatically locked. Now I cannot make excess to my HDD data. After this I have installed another drive. This drive is also locked by my pc. Please tell me solution of this issue

There is no automatic hard drive password lock. This must be done from bios.  Windows password IS NOT bypassed by this jumper.

To reset BIOS passwords on Optiplex 780

  1. Power off system and remove jumper (normally blue) from PSWD1
  2. Boot system – BIOS should alert about password disabled.
  3. Power down and replace PSWD1 jumper
  4. Password should now be cleared – check in BIOS settings.
