Headphones on Optiplex 3070
Hi people.
We purchased more than 2 thousand Optiplex 3070. Now we are having some issues with the front panel audio jack when we plug a headphone with a standard headphone jack.
Windows won't recognize the headphone and the audio stills comes out from the built-in speakers. If we boot the computer with the headphones already plugged in, there is no problem and the audio sounds through the headphones.
We are using these Realtek drivers downloaded from the official Dell Support Web:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/si/en/sibsdt1/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=grdhh&oscode=wt64a&productcode=optiplex-3070-desktop
I've found that if i rollback to the Microsoft Driver "High Definition Audio Device", the problem is solved also.
We have hundreds of computers already deployed and we need a way to silently and massively solve this.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Had this problem myself. Managed to fix it by downloading Waves MaxxAudio Pro for Dell 2019 using https://store.rg-adguard.net/ and then installing via powershell "Add-AppxPackage"

Thanks. And just checking: do you also have the same issue if the Waves MaxxAudio Pro Application is installed? https://dell.to/38lnwPq ^JKC

I think that is the problem. I cannot install that application as it tries to download from the Microsoft Store.
In our environment the Windows Store is blocked by the GPO DoNotConnectToWindowsUpdateInternetLocations.
Isn't there an offline version of the application?
Thanks for your help.

Hello, I see you've opened a thread.
In order for me to review your system configuration, Could you private message the Service Tag / Express Service Code?
Refer the below link to find the Service Tag:https://dell.to/2PbDswz

Yeah I would love a fix for this.
Im not sure if my IT support can install the MaxAudioPro application via intune. But installing this stand alone seemed to fix it. The app starts when inputing a minijack into the port and asks in a pop up what you plugged in.

Hi,
We have the same problem currently where the only way to fix is plugging in jack before logging in otherwise a restart is needed.
Did you manage to fix the problem? If so how?
Thanks
