Help please! i’m not really a tech savvy person so i’m sorry if this is something simple but i’ve been having problems with my cpu lately we’re i start it up and it says “no bootable devices found”. I looked over the internet and found many things similar but nothing that actually helps, I’ve checked my bios settings and my hard drive shows there but in my boot sequence it doesn’t show. It also doesn’t allow me to switch form UEFI or legacy mode, i’m very confused about this whole ordeal

By any chance did you scan the QR code with your phone?  Also, image will eventually be deleted since it shows the Service Tag.  Might be why some of your images haven't come thru.

Even with CPU fan error, system still should allow you to boot.

Will it allow you to reinstall Win10?

On a working PC, download Win10 ISO to a 8GB or bigger blank flash drive formatted to FAT32.  They often come that way anyway.  Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File) Microsoft site   Boot from from flash drive on your PC to load Win10.

When a window pops up asking what partition to load Win10 on, delete all previous partitions.  Then click on Next or Install.  Win10 will then automatically create the appropriate partitions and load.  When a window pops up asking for product key, click on link that says "I do not have a product key."  Win10 will then continue to install using the product key that's imbedded in BIOS.  You'll still need to activate it online.

I'm going to suggest using SSD over using HDD because not only will the performance be better, but it cuts way down on slow Win10 restarts.

Have you made any changes or installed any updates prior to this happening? What mode is the BIOS in now? If UEFI then the first item in the boot list should be Windows Boot Manager. Another possibility is if the BCD is missing or corrupt. This page at Diskpart or at HelpDeskGeek here can help but if you are not tech savvy then the directions could be a bit overwhelming.

One other step to take is run diagnostics, F12 at boot, just to make sure you are not having a problem with the SSD.

Hey thanks for the reply! I don’t remember installing any updates before this, and the bio settings version is 1.11.0, im gonna try the stuff in the link you sent so hopefully that works, i remember seeing Windows Boot Manager in here once, someone probably in my household probably deleted it. Is there a way to re add it back?

You can and I had a similar experience and added the option. Simply click on the add boot option as shown in the first picture. Then type in Windows Boot Manager (bold text added for emphasis by me) and give it a try.

Did you try from JOcean's post? - "One other step to take is run diagnostics, F12 at boot, just to make sure you are not having a problem with the SSD."  And/or may be try a different HDD/SSD and see if it works.

From what I see in your photos, only Windows Boot Manager should be checked.  IPV4 and IPV6 are network boot options and should be unchecked.

i don’t believe it’s an problem with the hdd, as i can see it in the bios settings, although could it be that it’s because it’s a new hard drive than the old one? this one i bought recently because my old one no longer works

Before reload, make sure BIOS SATA Operation is set to AHCI.  Boot Sequence = UEFI.  Any Legacy stuff OFF if the BIOS in the G5 has that.  Images below will show where to find that stuff.  They were downloaded, so some show other selections other than described.
