Monitor DELL E248WFP not work when connected to display port
Hello at all,
Hi have 3 monitor E248WFP (ok are old 2008...) when I attach it at video card with display port the monitor not start and remain in power safe. I use a video cord with DP from video card and DVI from monitor.
The video cord is ok and Video card is OK. I can do somethings to solve this situation?

What model Optiplex and what video card? Check your post--it says you have 3 monitors. Old monitors usually cannot recognize display port. Try using the vga to vga connection--no adapter cables. Vga on optiplex is the integrated video.

Hi, I have tested this monitors on Nvidia P2000 and Nvidia M2000 on workstation T3640 and T5840. Both video cards they have Display Port connector. Then I use display port on Nvidia Card to DVI to video monitor by a DP to DVI video cord. If I use a differnte DELL 24 inch monitor it work but when I use E248WFP monitor it not work

Yes, but do those monitors have the same type DVI port? The E248WFP has a DVI-D (single-link) DVI port, based on the port's image in the Service Manual.
So does your DP>DVI adapter cable have the correct type of DVI connector for this monitor?

BTW: Did you try using the On-Screen Display (OSD) on the E248WFP monitor to auto-detect the digital input when it's connected to the PC?
