My Motherboard doesn't detect my GPU
Hello everyone, my 780 (DT) suddenly doesn't detect my GPU, i was replacing my HD5450 with a RX550 Low-Profile for "installing hackintosh reason" and after i installed my RX550 Low-Profile it doesn't display anymore but the fans spins. I tried using the onboard card and it displayed after i booted into windows, i checked device manager and my video cards doesn't appear, instead my onboard card.Troubleshooting i made before i posted this: Changing video cards (i have three video card: HD5450, GT210, and my new RX550) does not display anything Checked the PCI-E slots (doesn't have a crack) and the copper contacts of the slot (no broken contacts) and the contacts of gpu doesn't have burns.

Does the RX580 require external PCIe power connection?

it's a RX550 not a RX580, and RX550 doesn't need a power connector it draws power from the pcie

Reset the CMOS memory (BIOS). Sometimes when new hardware is not detected resetting the CMOS will cause it to be detected. With the PC powered off and AC power cord disconnected, hold the power button in for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power from the power supply. Open the case and locate the CR2032 battery on the motherboard. Remove the battery for at least 10 minutes, reinstall (actually a good time to replace the battery if its never been replaced as they are usually only good for about 5 years). Reconnect AC power cord and power on and see if the video card is detected.

Also, I believe the RX550 may require UEFI.

Isn't the recommended psu for the rx550, 400w? Is it possible it's pulling too much board power for your pc? 780 dt is a 255w psu?

HP 5lh79at cards are not supported by dell.

RX550 would be an HP card that requires UEFI class 2.3.1 bios.
You have class 1 bios so this card wont work.
It doesnt support XP or DOS VESA video mode 103.

Let's say my RX550 requires a UEFI bios then why my XFX HD5450 also does not work which is 7 years older than the RX550?

Maybe the motherboard is the problem, I've tried everything: changing cmos battery, trying video cards that doesn't need UEFI bios to work, updating bios. I bought this on a online shopping app, it's a refurbished unit. The first problem I've encountered with this unit is: 2 3 4 blinking with amber light on power button, I've fix that by cleaning CPU copper pads which is covered by corrosion, next is after shutting down the unit is still running, have to manually shutdown and this, the motherboard does not detect my GPU.
