No Sound Through DP
I'm looking for an OptiPlex to connect to my TV, but the newer models only have DP's and my current OptiPlex 3060 which only has 2 x DP's won't transmit sound to the TV's HDMI port via a DP to HDMI cable because Dell say that the DP on this model won't transmit sound, so I had to fit a graphics card with HDMI.
I'm looking for a 9th or 10th Gen OptiPlex, but can see that Dell have dropped the HDMI port in favour of DP's, but do any of them support sound via a DP to HDMI cable, or do I have to go the expensive route of fitting a Graphics Card with HDMI.

Don't have a 3060 for testing. But, tested with both discrete and onboard DP ports from a 7060 with a DP to HDMI passive cable and they both carry sound to the TV through HDMI.
In Device Manager, verify that Intel High Definition Audio driver is installed.
In the audio output device (volume in tray area), verify that TV (model) audio is selected
