Optiplex 3060 SSD upgrade
Hi All. I recently bought an OptiPlex 3060 SFF with a 256GB SSD M.2 drive
My question is, as my IT department has decided I need more hard drive space, what product do I buy? These things seem a minefield!. it says on the existing product that its 3.3V and 950mA, but when searching for what I think is a replacement, the current on them is more than double! SO does it matter?
Also secondary question. I already have a conventional 2.5" SSd drive, which will install very easily, but I cant get it to boot from it... is this possible? Instead of the PCIe product

Conventional SSD will boot when you remove the M2 and clear any boot modes in bios.

You set the Sata operation to AHCI and install using USB2 Optical Drive with Secure Boot OFF.
You F12 boot from the USB DVD drive and install windows. There is only 1 disk now for HOME or PRO windows 10. does not matter which one you use.

You then download the one driver to rule them all cab file.

You move this file to the My documents folder.
Then you use 7zip to extract it to that folder.

You then go to device manager and update any ! from my pc instead of online.
