Optiplex 390 does not display bootable USB in boot menu.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
- Updated BIOS from A10 to A14 (Newest version)
- Tried both UEFI and legacy boot options
- Using the proper settings to create A legacy boot drive
- Verified USB boot is enabled in BIOS and all USB ports are enabled
- Drive does appear in the boot menu of another device.
- Tried with and without "Add fixes for old BIOSes" ticked in Rufus.
- Tried a legacy boot Windows installation USB drive with same result.
Relevant info:
- BIOS A14 (Newest)
- Arch Linux Installation ISO
- Rufus 3.17.1846
- BIOS updated by installing Windows 10 to an SSD on another machine and installing it in the Optiplex.
- Note Windows had to be installed for legacy boot to boot in the Optiplex.
Any help/suggestions are much appreciated.
