Optiplex 5060 MT - 2nd 3.5” drive?

does anyone know what bracket I would need to add a second 3.5” HDD to a optiplex 5060 MT. Where the current 3.5” drive sits, there is plenty of room to get another in with a different bracket.

thanks.

The Dell designed oem caddy is the correct size for this bay which holds single 3.5 only.  Dell does not make dual 3.5 hdd caddy for optiplex. one option is to piggyback two thin 3.5 hdd using double sticky tape then use the Dell caddy for the one of the two 3.5.

That would be a cooling nightmare.

The plan would be to ditch the caddy. I agree no space if continuing to use the caddy.

Dell uses this caddy for single 3.5 hdd.  if you are using the Dell caddy already I do not see room for a second 3.5 hdd in the same bay.

That is the opposite direction. I’m looking to put 2 3.5” drives in.

With a 3.5" to 2.5" dual adapter, two 2.5" HDD's, or two SATA SSD's, or an 2.5" HDD/SSD combo, can fit in the same 3.5" slot.
