Optiplex 5070 SFF Fan noise compared to Micro
I currently own an Optiplex 3050 Micro. I'm using it as a 24/7 as a private server for OwnCloud and other server tasks. It serves me well and I'm happy with it, except I had to relocate the PC to the living room. The fan is silent compared to e.g. a NUC, but in a totally silent environment it can be nerving when you want to take a nap or sleep (our living room is also our guest room).
Long story short, I've an option to get a Optiplex 5070 SFF. The SFF would still fit into the location where the 3050 Micro is at the moment. Therefore I wonder if the 5070 with the i5-9500 and the larger fan compared to the Micro has a more silent fan noise floor.
Do you have experience with both SFF and Micro and can compare the fan noise between the two?

I have a DT and have never had any fan noise. The smaller the PC, the more difficult the heat dissipation. Plus with smaller fans, they have to work at higher RPM's to do the same work.
