Optiplex 7010 MT: need help with graphic card sizing
Hello all! I am looking to upgrade to the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8gb GPU, and I'm not sure if it will fit in my case (Dell Optiplex 7010 MT). The card itself is 10.98" x 5.51" (2 fans). The only other related post I could find is someone saying they can fit an Asus ROG Strix Radeon Rx 570 in their Optiplex 7010 MT. This graphics card is also a 2 fan, but its sizing is slightly smaller (9.5" x 5.1"). I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the card I'm looking at will fit! Someone please help me out, thanks!

One site says video card length limited to 7.5”. may need to drill the rivets holding the hdd cage and remove the cage before you can install a long card.

The GTX 1070 is a 150w card requiring 500w minimum PSU and extra 8-pin connection. Any aftermarket PSU needs to have the same amount, if not more, wattage on the 3.3v/5v rails as the Dell PSU, besides boasting more total wattage.
It would help to know what PSU you have and what exact CPU. Chances are the CPU in a 7010 will bottleneck a GTX 1070.
