Optiplex 7060, BIOS 1.8.0, USB WiFi issue
Hello,
The computer in question is Dell Optiplex 7060 with Windows 10 2004 installed. It has a USB 2 Netgear A6200 WiFi adapter that was working fine until I updated the BIOS to 1.8.0. BIOS 1.8.0 was installed because Dell indicated it was an urgent/critical update.
After the required reboot for installing BIOS 1.8.0, the computer will not automatically connect to WiFi. When I tried manually connecting to WiFi it still would not connect. Windows 10 will list the local WiFi network but cannot connect. I also tried forgetting the network, reentering the password, but still would not connect.
If I unplug the WiFi adapter from the USB port and then plug it back in, the computer then will connect to the WiFi network automatically.
If I reboot the computer again, it goes back to not connecting and I have to unplug/replug the USB WiFi adapter again.
There is a USB 3 external hard drive connected to this PC that is not having any issue after reboot. The computer also has a Logitech Keyboard/Mouse dongle plugged into USB and those are not having issues after reboot.
I have turned off all USB Power Management for the USB Hub/controller and the network adapter.
I have modified the Power plan to maximum performance for the wireless.
I have tried plugging the USB WiFi adapter into different USB ports.
I have the most recent drivers installed for the USB WiFi adapter (Netgear drivers from 2013) and trying an auto update indicates the most recent drivers are installed (again, 2013).
I also tried auto detecting updated drivers for the USB controller which Windows indicated were also the most recent drivers. I also check the drivers section of Windows update which did not list any USB or WiFi related driver updates, but it did have the BIOS 1.7.1 listed (the previous BIOS for the Dell Optiplex 1.7.1)
Before I try rolling back the BIOS or buying a new USB 3 WiFi adapter, has anyone else had an issue like this or suggestions on other things to try?
Thanks!

Thank you! We have received the required details. We will work the issue. You may also receive assistance or suggestions from the community members.
Update October 24 = I used my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 as another computer to test the adapter on. My Surface is running Windows 10 2009 (20H2). I experienced the same issue with the Netgear A6200 on my Surface as I did on the customers Optiplex 7060, the adapter would not automatically connect to WiFi after reboot and I had to unplug/replug the adapter to get it to function correctly. That would seem to suggest it is something with this older adapter or its drivers.
