Optiplex 7060 Micro Optional USB Type C add on

I know this has been discussed a couple of times on this forum, but does anyone happen to know of the part number for the optional type c connector for the Optiplex 7060 Micro? Its not too hard to find the VGA, HDMI, and DP, but the additional Type C connector is what my company is really looking for.

Thanks for any help!

If it exists its more than one piece with daughterboard, cable, and screws.

Also appears to have USB-C on the front.

So this may not be an option?

@speedstep When you open it up and look at the motherboard there is a header for  usb C, and its clearly labeled as well. Worst case the HDMI add on will work but the Type C would be ideal.

Just trying to get the part number before I call sales and do the run around with them for awhile.

I would check with @DELL-Chris M

Users don't have access to that information.

I have a new 7080. No options to add that USB-C connector >:

The front USB-C doesn't have video. Tried that. How is Dell this cheap? I could have bought that option if presented to me. My 2-yr old HP laptop has that. It's pretty sweet for a USB-C display.

I don't know if this helps or not. Anyway, for my 7080 micro tower, the part number is: SKU 382-BBIS / Part number J03TG

Phone number is: 1-800-357-3355 (USA)

I'll see what the part looks like when I get it and post an update.

It's been 2 months. I was promised that a sales person will call me back because, two month ago they were so busy that they, sales, don't have time to take my call!

I've given up on that. I really love how my HP laptop can just connect to a USB-C display and charge over it (desktop drawing tablet powered by ac adapter) but my dell is dumb as a rock.

I've been thoroughly disappointed at the dell quality and service. Just like they said in their latest ads, they are just somebody from texas. A bag of nvme and spare hdd screws come in standard with a $600 hp machine made for cheap PC gamers but no my dell optiplex won't come with that and NO I CAN'T order them!

I'll be buying a mobo with i9 and OC support in the near future maybe with an i3 processor so I'll swap out the i9 on dell and place it where it really belongs and the dell gets the i3. If HP had 10th gen i9 when I made my purchase I wouldn't be here. Probably complaining on hp forum now LOL

Necroing this thread for anyone who runs across it like I did. The Type-C adapter add-in module that attaches to the Type-C and Video headers on e.g. a 7080 Micro is available on Aliexpress. Unsure if I'm allowed to link directly, but it's easily found by searching for "Aliexpress J03TG CN-0J03TG 0J03TG" or similar. Hope this is helpful to someone!

I might as well ask this here since there's not many places online people talk about these. For the Type-C adapters, the documentation says they have Alt Mode, which is great! But does anyone know if they also have Powershare? Maybe I'm asking the wrong question. I'm just wondering if these rear USB-C ports (the front USB-C as well on the 7070/7080) if I could plug in a small touch screen monitor via USB-C to both power the screen and enabled the touch portion as well.
