Optiplex 7060 Postboot RAM Error

Hello, i have a 7060 Micro. I get an 1-3-2 Beep code an the orange LED blinks 3 times.

There is one 8 GB original RAM Stick inside the machine. I tried the following things:

- remove and insert in same slot -> same error

- change slot -> same error

- no RAM in slot -> same error

- other 4 GB RAM Stick in slot -> same error

- remove Coin cell -> pc takes long time with withe power led, than the same error as mentioned

I tested the Ram in another dell (7050) with memtest86+ (and also the dell internal tools) -> no problems with the Ram Stick.

So the problem must be on mainboard etc.

Have anyone any idea, what is the problem an how I can resolve it?

Thanks!

The solution is a replacement mainboard -- they're not expensive (starting under $30).

Thanks. Any hints what is the problem here? (I'm just a little curious)

Do you have any recommendations for sources of supply (preferably in Germany)?

It could be any of a number of things given the advanced age of the system -- bad cold solder joint somewhere would be prime among them.

You will also find these selling for $100-150 used, complete and working -- compare the prices on Ebay, etc.  for complete systems (which then gives you a set of parts like the power supply, etc. to keep in reserve).
