I have some Optiplex 7070's that are having BIOS update issues.

 

1 of them I was able to solve with the help of this forum, and that was to Disable Virtualization in the BIOS, then do the update. Success.

 

I now have another remote system, where I've attempted using CCTK in the OS and in WinPE to Disable Virtualization. Both tell me is successful in doing so.....However, the BIOS still will not update.  There are no errors and everything looks like it's going to work after a Restart.

Nope, still remains at 1.2.1 where as the payload is 1.3.1   (I'm doing this in an effort to help with Drive Encryption and I swear 70% of the issues with rolling it out at my company are related to Dell hardware.)
