Optiplex 7460 HDMI Input without boot device
I am trying to setup a 7460 AIO as secondary monitor and using the HDMI Input will *only* work if the computer boots to an OS.
If I disable all boot devices, the input switching button no longer functions and we are not able to switch to the HDMI input.
We have some older Optilex 9030 AIO's that work as expected - with all boot devices disabled, you can still switch to the HDMI input.
Am I missing something with these newer units, or is there no other option?

You cannot use this feature without an os. This is not an option.

Is this unique to the 7xxx line as the 9030 works as expected.
