What I would like to know is can I upgrade my Dell OptiPlex 755 pc from 4gig ram to 16gig and what else do I need withstand the 16gig ram in my pc please

Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.
There seems to be a fair few options.
Seemingly the SFF is 2 x 2GB = 4GB max.
The Desktop is 4 x 2GB = 8GB max.
The Mini Tower is 4 x 2GB = 8GB max.
You can try Mr Memory, Crucial and Kingston for a better answer.

755 has 4 DIMM slots for DDR2 memory. very expensive to get 4GB DDR2, and may not work any way.
