Optiplex 760 shut down randomly on booting

I've Optiplex desktop for months. But, two days ago it started to be weird, like when my PC finally open and I start to use it, it gives me a black screen then monitor status appears and the pc shuts down then it happened while booting.

I replaced the thermal paste, checked the power connections, checked Processor fan and power supply fan and I formatted the hard disk and tried to install new OS but it shuts down while on installation process.

Can anyone help with that?

And yeah my PC is out of warranty.

First thing is trying replacing the size 2032 CMOS battery if it hasn't been done in the last 5 years.  A bad battery will cause all sorts of seemingly unrelated problems - boot problems and you name it.

It should then either change behavior, hopefully for the better, or it might throw an error code that we can troubleshoot.  Either way, we should be able to move forward once the battery is replaced.

Not to worry, out of warranty Dell PC's is exactly what we're here for.

Unless you're an expert at replacing capacitors, replace the MB.  Even if you can replace the capacitor, it's cause might be there with the same MB.
