Optiplex 780 locked BIOS
I just purchased a used Optiplex 780 MT motherboard off ebay and once installed in my case and fired up I found the BIOS locked. I don't have any clue what the password is to unlock. Is there a way to unlock the BIOS on the 780 maybe remove the battery?
Thanks!

Removing the battery should do the trick. The following is additional information.

See also this article about something else, but it has steps to move jumpers and go into a different BIOS mode - maybe you can do the same on your 780?

Just replacing the battery might not reset password if there is one. https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000126390/how-to-use-the-jumper-to-reset-the-bios-password-on-your-dell-desktop-computer

@Mrtoyou
780 Password must be cleared after removing Jumper and F2 setting NO password in F2 Bios Setup. Then you put jumper back.
