Optiplex 780 not booting up
My machine is not booting up. I replaced the bios battery. The machine booted up and I could not restore a previous backup because the machine did not recognise my password. It began a “ diagnosing the problem” sequence, when I got a general power outage In my home, which caused the computer to lose power. I have not been able to boot up the machine since, can you help?

After the power outage do you have any signs of life from the system? Keep in mind that this is a nearly 12-year-old PC and though MBs are cheap it may be time to consider upgrading as the MB and or the PSU may have been affected.
