Optiplex 9020 GPU and HDD

some video card maker adds a 6 pin PCIe connector to the card because of factory overclock or other frills.  you need to upgrade Dell 9020 psu to have the needed 6 pin.  your options include Dell XE2 MT 365 W psu (DP/N 7VK45 T1M43 HU365EM-00 D365EM-00) which has the 6 pin and is natively compatible with 9020 MT, or aftermarket 24/4 pin ATX psu plus a 24 to 8 pin adapter.  the XE2 MT psu is an easier option while the aftermarket 400w psu from evga etc. may be of higher quality and less expensive (albeit more messy cable management).

   would that PSU work? It's new, local and cheap. 

One other thing. If I buy a new PSU will any of the work with the mobo? I know I will need a 24 to 8pin adapter.
