Optiplex 990 SFF amber light

Question

This unit is a refurbished that was ordered from Amazon. Dell Optiplex 990 SFF Intel Core i5 Windows 10 At my 1st POST, I was presented by this message: 'Alert! Hard Drive Fan Failure' 'F1 to continue - F2 to Enter Setup' As I continue using by pressing F1, it took four days after the present problem occurs. New Problem: Power button blink then off for few seconds then blink again in loop. Please help me out.

Welcome to the Dell Community  @Yaiug  Amber light: Solid amber light when the computer does not start indicates a problem with the system board or power supply. Blinking amber light indicates a problem with the system board. Hi U2CAMEB4ME, I agree with all that you point out. This problem I have on my system is unique. I've been repairing desktops for quite a while and this has puzzled me. I would love to upload a short video clip of it to see the timing of the light as it goes on and off. Can you point out where to upload the video in here. Cheers, Yaiug

@Yaiug  I do not think the Dell community has the option to post video clips. 'HP's community does.' You would need to find a Video Hosting site. Then post a link to that video clip. Regards, U2
