Optiplex sff 7010 - Replace or fix dvd sata power plug?

Hi,

While replacing the DVD with an SSD I managed to snap the plastic L shaped support on the DVD sata power socket so it's now stuck inside the actual DVD sata power plug that comes from the power supply. I've managed to keep things working by using an adapter from a spare sata connection but it's abit of a birds next of cables.

Is there a way to replace the sata power plug completely or a technique for getting the broken plastic fragments out of the plug? I've tried needles and tweezers without success. Any suggestions welcome.

Regards Steve

If you can not fix the slimline sata power plug, one option is to replace the entire psu to get a working plug.  Or you can cut a slimline sata adapter and splice the two wires (red/black) manually then wrap w electrical tape, a less elegant but cheaper fix.
