Per our specs, the 5080 tower would need either a 260w or a 360w PSU. While the 300w PSU may work, its not the one we would recommend to use. The 260w one you linked should work based on some of the part numbers they listed in the description. If you need something with more wattage, then I'd look for a 360w PSU.
Which Optiplex 5080 are you using? The power supply and motherboard are all different for each the MT (Mini Tower), DT (Desktop) and SFF (Small Form Factor) varients. Edit: The MT and DT are both desktops despite the naming. Do not guess.
