RAM upgrade issues - latest optiplex mff
Hi All,
I recently purchased a Dell OptiPlex MFF 7010 (2023). I tried upgrading the system using a kingston RAM modules (DDR4, 3200Mhz, ECC, 32GB x 2, KSM32SED8/32MF). Using the new modules, the system refuses to boot up and goes into a reboot cycle.
Can anyone suggest why this is not working?

That is ECC RAM and the 7010 Micro uses NON-ECC RAM. That can be found at Crucial here. In addition the Dell RAM upgrade page here also lists only NON-ECC RAM as compatible.

Thanks JOcean, i never found any specific mentions that ECC RAM would not work. Furthermore, these modules are unbuffered so they typically work in most situations.
