Realtek driver installation failure Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Hey there, i recently got a Optiplex 7020 and wanted to set it up to my liking, when installing the latest realtek driver for the Dell brand i keep getting this error message upon installation as seen in this image
I've tried using the Dell Support Assist to no avail, i've installed the Intel Chipset Device Software at least two times now, even once manually where i was told to downgrade because apparently i had a "newer" version. Any help would be appreciated!

You can't install WDDM 1.3 WIN10 drivers on WDDM 1.1 Windows 7.
There are no updated drivers or features for Windows 7 because its in end of support mode now. You should uninstall Dell support assist because it to is end of life end of support.
Client operating systems End of mainstream support End of extended support
You need to install 7 zip then extract the Cab file into the documents folder
and then update drivers from your pc instead of the internet.

The Realtek audio 6.0.1.8351 driver is not compatible with the Optiplex 7020 machine.
But a Realtek v6.0.1.6125 A10 driver (released July 2018 for certain Latitude laptops) might work since it does fix a BSOD problem in Win7.
