Resetting local account password
Basically I haven't gone in my pc in awhile and I really need it at the moment and it says select account choose an account to continue then says user I don't know what to do because it's a local account and I don't know how to reset it please help me

If you forgot your password and need to reset it, you can do so from the Windows sign-in screen. If there are multiple accounts on the device, choose the one you need to reset. After you've entered an incorrect password, look below the password text box:
* If you see the Reset password option, select it and follow the instructions to reset your password
* If you added security questions when you set up a local account, then you can answer security questions to sign back in
* If you created a password reset disk, you can select the option Use a password reset disk instead and follow the instructions

Your thread may gain better attention if you provide specific information about the computer and the issue. All we get was that you can't get in your PC and local account may need password reset.
For Windows password reset, review this information: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-or-reset-your-password-in-windows-8271d17c-9f9e-443f-835a-8318c8f68b9c
For system (BIOS) password reset, use the service manual of your PC model for clearing password via jumper.
