Sata cable connections, Optiplex 9020
Hi, I have a 9020 sff i5 10505 with 256gb m.2 nvme and wish to add a 1gb ssd for which i have the caddy for but what sata socket do i put the ssd into, opening it up it has sata 0 and 1 have a link between them and the cd optical is connected to sata 3 so should i use 0 or 1 for the new ssd?
My pc knowledge is pretty basic so be gentle with me!

either black or blue sata port good for ssd. odd should be on white sata port.

Also should have said that the new ssd will be for research storage only not boot etc.
