Small Form Factor intermittent freezing
I have a OptiPlex 5070 SFF and 3040 SFF. They both have similar issues where they will freeze intermittently whether it's using Gmail, pdf printing or a web game. I have recently refreshed the O/S to factory settings, maxed the RAM and run a full diags on the HDD. no issues found. I did all updates and used command update and support assist to update until everything was updated.
I tried with Window 7 pro, and windows 10 pro, same issue.
Now, i have windows 10 on all pc's.
5070 max ram, 1 TB NAND hdd,
3040, max ram, factory hdd.
I tried a few 3010's, and 3020 with the fresh install, and it works like a charm. NO Freezing, no intermittent lag, and my web games fly.
What's the difference between the SFF and the Desktops that will make the difference.
Is there a tweak to try on the SFF to make them fly like the MT's?

I do not think the freeze is due to form factor of pc.
the 3010/3020 are ddr3 based, and 5070/3040 ddr4 based.
freeze could be due to memory issue
try remove all ram install only one back and test each ram individually.

Something not tried yet in this scenario: Replace the size 2032 CMOS battery. Also: How to Perform a BIOS or CMOS Reset and Clear the NVRAM on Dell Computers
Are any GPU cards being used in any of the systems?
