Due to an issue in the Microsoft software development kit (SDK) library embedded in SupportAssist for Business PCs, Internet of Things (IoT) Connection failures caused the memory leak.
It is highly recommended to upgrade personal computer fleets with the new SupportAssist for Business PCs version 3.6 that addresses the Microsoft SDK memory leak issue. For deployment guide and release notes, reference SupportAssist for Business PCs deployment guide and release notes.
To fix any ongoing issues with SupportAssist, you can also try a clean reinstallation.

Just posting as a warning, solution was to kill the process and uninstall support assist.

@bradthetechnut LOL - Of course we did to resolve the issue.
How about Dell wake up and address the issue?
Still happening.
Support Assist isn't updating itself.

Same here, kill workstations and laptop.

@gubeauchamp
Not a solution. SupportAssist crashed my Studio laptop - killed it dead. Would not allow Uninstall - killed it dead each time I tried, Had to resort to System Restore, also problematic due to presence of BItDefender needing a special procedure to run it in Safe Mode.
This whole debacle has cost me a full day of my time. NOT good enough Dell, I have relied on your machines and support for over 20 years but am horrified by the lack of quality control exhibited here. Your diagnostic product is worse than a virus.
