Tower Cooling Questions

Hi. I recently purchased a refurbished Optiplex 3060 and I am trying to decide where to locate the tower. It is a small and it fits nicely in the space between two legs of my office desk.

I would like to locate it there but I worry about it not being able to stay cool. There are no vents on the sides contacting the desk legs. It looks like the cooling air is drawn in the front and expelled through the back. I think if I keep the back away from the wall air should flow through fine. Anyone have any comments, concerns or warnings against doing that?

as long as it is not pushed all the way against the back wall, it should be okay.  these are not high power pcs that need a lot of air flow to stay cool.  look at CPU temp via HWMonitor.exe or listen to cpu fan noise while you use it in this installment.

if there is a few inches of clear space between the pc and back wall it should be okay.
