trying to find an SSD caddy

Question

Hi all,

I'm trying to get hold of a caddy to mount a 2.5" ssd in my Optiplex 5000 Tower. The variant I need is the 54PCC, but Dell technical assistance are anything but helpful.

I simply cannot source one in the UK, or even see one worldwide for that matter.

I see the 9T3F1 looks very similar. Is it the same bracket (metal version)?

No that is not a Dell site but the price info comes from Dell internal database. try chat w Dell US site on line and ask for stock availability, even though you are UK based.

Is that a legit site? I came across it when I was searching but they didn't seem to be directly for sale. But I will submit a request form to them if they are .

Dell say they can't supply a 54PCC, and suggested I buy G3FV8. Which I did. But is doesn't fit. But that's another story....
