Upgrading Optiplex 7450 AIO - Slowing down...

Hi,
I have Dell "all in one" PC since 2017.
It has always performed well.  I am just a regular "business user" - not a gamer.
See attached for full spec.
I like this machine and would prefer to stick with it - despite it's age.
It is getting a little slow - but not too bad.
Should I add RAM or do some upgrade?

First question you'll have to answer is, do you want support for Windows 11?  Windows 10 is now end of life -- and your CPU will not officially support Windows 11.  If the answer to the question is yes, then it's time for a new system.

If not, replacing the hard drive with a solid state drive is the single best upgrade you can make.

OP may have an overweight operating system loaded with unnecessary software installed over years. Try a clean Windows 10 install, or you can try clean Windows 11 by using tricks to bypass cpu check.  Upgrade to 16Gb ram may help if you open many browser tabs at same time.  SSD, if not already installed will help boot speed tremendously. Whether it helps browsing or typing business document is open to debate. If you are not opening or downloading large size data file, you may not notice difference between ssd and hdd.

lastly if you are handy can upgrade to i7-7700 from i5 in this AIO.
