Windows 10 2004 - No Onboard Intel Graphics

Hey,

Has anyone had issues with the onboard intel graphics showing up in 2004? I had no issues with 1909 but now all I see is my secondary AMD card by default. If I start up windows with something connected to the onboard ports, I can see it but if not, I only see the AMD secondary card.

Its not necessarily an issue but an annoyance because it looks like something is wrong and if you need to add a monitor, you now have to shut down, connect and turn it on. You use to be able to just see both, even if you just had something plugged into the secondary AMD and when you needed to add a monitor, just plug it in and configure on the fly.

If it makes a difference, these are a bunch of 9020 SFF's.

Thanks,

Steven

Everyone will have issues. Some models do not allow onboard video to be used if you have a video card in the slot.  This is not a supported configuration.

Which Model Dell are we talking about?  What Size is it?

You will need the OEM Windows VISTA or WIN7 Video Driver.

You may also need the OEM Audio Codec (Realtek, Soundmax, etc)

Video whether from INTEL or ATI or NVIDIA etc stops
working and will not AUTO install when your video becomes LEGACY.

What you must do.

Install DirectX June 2010

You download the file.
You extract into a folder I call mine DX90C
Once extracted you run as administrator and exe file in the folder called DXSETUP.exe

They are all 9020 SFF's and up until 2004, they had no issues. They had all been set to Auto in the bios and even if you only had something connected to the secondary AMD card, it would still show both adapters and it was plug-n-play. Now, it only shows when you have something connected on bootup and you cannot plug anything in after bootup, it will just not work until you shut down and then connect.

Current DCH Driver model is for 6th Gen and Newer.

This means Gen1 thru 5 Core Series are legacy.

So you have to clean install legacy driver.
