Inspiron 15 shuts down

I've had this laptop under a week. I decided to download Hoyles card game 2012, from gamestop. had a few issues with how they go about downloading it from separate pages, no big deal....right? I was wrong (I Think). After getting it downloaded, I browsed thru it to see all the card games they had.

After a few mintues of looking thru it, the computer shut right off. I was using my plug in so I could charge the battery also. But theres no way to reboot

it that I know of. I do have 1 lite on (1st one), but it just acts like its blown up and shut down. Any suggestions out there ? I have never had this happen ever, where I couldn't reboot it somehow. Appreciate all I can get from anyone who would know.  Thanks !
