Alert Notification Subject Variables for PPDM
I've got a PPDM Server (v19.18) which sends various emails alerts to our Storage Team, but we have to open or preview each individual email to know what the alert is about. For now, I've created multiple Alert Notifications for each important Category, but that can still be rather vague at times. I'd like to include more granular information into the Subject line of an alert, so I am hoping that there are Variables that I can include. Can someone give me any insight into that? If there's a document somewhere that details them, I'd appreciate it if someone could direct me.
Thank you in advance.
Matthew

Hello Matthew,
Are you using Restapi or native alert messaging?

We're using the Alert Notifications that are built into PPDM.

Hello Matthew,
Do you have all the Severity status checked? If so, then I would reduce to just the Critical and Warning messages.

@DELL-Sam L I think you need to re-read my original inquiry. I'm not having a problem getting the messages. I'm looking to find out if there are variables that I can use in the Subject line in Alert Notifications.

Hello Matthew,
There is not a way that I can see of getting the message info in the subject line as you are wanting. As I have seen with most customers that they have all severity levels marked for all alerts. In most case that I have seen you can removed the informational messages, but select the warning and critical.

Good enough. That'll have to do for now, I suppose. Thank you.
