Hello cameron
Some of our BMC/iDRACs will allow you to perform a soft reset via RACADM commands that do not require a full system restart. It will just restart the iDRAC/BMC. I can't say for sure that the soft reset will update the gateway information because I haven't tested it.
What iDRAC/BMC and server model do you have?
Thanks

Thanks Daniel.
A wide variety :)
For DRAC I have 5, 6 and 7 versions in my network and for servers I have R310, R410, R510, R610, R620, R710, R720 and R810.
Does Dell have a spreadsheet showing what models can and can't be soft reset via RACADM commands?

All of those should work.
Any system with a DRAC 5, 6, 7, or 8 should be able to run this command. The systems that only have the BMC option won't be able to, and I would have to double check on cloud systems and any others.
