Configuration guide for ESX on R710
I am chasing a stand configuration guide for Dell PowerEdge R710
I want the following setting for ESX
Boot Config
PERC 6/i Config
Management Card Config

I'm not sure there is a standard guide.
Maybe we can help? What drives are already installed? Do those dirves need to hold the VM's as well? If so, the PERC 6/i will be very bad performance wise running VM's on it. Its' barely accdeptable to hold the ESX itself.

Hello thanks for getting back to me, This will be a fresh build so there is 6x600gb 15K SAS drives i am waiting to set them up in Raid 10. then run the VMs
