Default iDRAC Username & Password

Question

I have a Dell PowerEdge T340 The default password that I noticed online root calvin is not working.  Looking to login and review a fault that is indicated by an orange display on the front bezel.<To protect you, your private information was removed from public view. All private data was saved to your private Case. DELL-Admin>

I have this problem as well just with a R730.

A todays ordered PowerEdge server offered "legacy" or "random" password option.

Your old R730 most likely have a changed password from the previous owner. So two options:

Reboot the server and enter the iDrac to change the password
If a OS is like Windows or Linux is installed and you have admin right you can install and use "racadm.exe" from the iDRAC Tools package to modfiy every iDrac setting including the passwords trough the OS. You dont need to know the existing password. Notice: racadm can be disable within the iDRAC and than this option cant be used
