Dell Poweredge R510 Memory Upgrade
Hello we have a R510 with following config
Intel Xeon E5620 2.4Ghz, 12M Cache,Turbo, HT, 1066MHz Max Mem
Intel Xeon E5620 2.4Ghz, 12M Cache,Turbo, HT, 1066MHz Max Mem
24GB Memory (6x4GB), 1333MHz Dual Ranked RDIMMs for 2 Processors, Optimized
Seems like there's 2 extra slots that's can be used, I'm wondering if we can just purchase 2 x 16GB

Or do we need to replace all memory?
What would be the most economic way to add more memory?

Ideally, achieving highest possible amount of memory would be the goal. Simply adding 16GB x 2 or 32GB x 2 on top of existing configuration would be fine. Otherwise, I guess I'll need to replace existing slots, which would prob mean replacing the existing 4GB sticks with 16GB or 32GB? What's the highest possible memory configuration? Seems the highest single memory sold is only 16GB?

Where can I purchase the 16GB memory then? Doesn't seem that this particular memory is available for Canada?
