Dell PowerEdge R6515 Power Issues
Hello,
We have a Dell PowerEdge R6515 with 9x MZILT1T9HBJR-00007 1.92TB SSDs + 16x 64GB PC4-3200AA-R installed that is experiencing the following issues:
2014 |
PWR1006 |
The system halted because system power exceeds capacity. |
2013 |
UEFI0060 |
Power required by the system exceeds the power supplied by the Power Supply Units (PSUs). |
The system has two 550w PSUs and all the hardware is new. When 4 of the drives are removed, the system begins running fine but there should be plenty of power available to run all of the drives.
Is there a setting to change or something else we can do to use all of this hardware in this system?
Thank you,

Can you check PSU redundancy mode. If it is in redundant mode you can change to Non Redundant mode. Please not if PSU is in Non redundant mode there is no redundancy and one PSU or power failure may result it server power off.
