Dell PowerEdge R710 - Change the SAS Controller
Hey,
I Have a Dell PowerEdge R710. It currently has a PERC 6/i SAS RAID Controller Installed that has a maximum HDD capacity of 2TB. I wanted to know which SAS Controller I would be able to install in the Server to Allow me in install 12TB HDD's without RAID. Currently, the Server has RAID, but I would prefer to have a regular SAS Controller that doesn't have RAID. Would anyone be able to tell me which controller to swap it with?

There is no validated configuration to support 12TB drives. The H200 supports drives larger than 2TB. It can theoretically work with 12TB drives, but drive sizes that large have not been validated. You can find more information about the H200 in the manual.
